More Than a Competition — A Mission

At Task Force Hydro 1, we’ve seen firsthand the healing power of water. This competition is a way to bring that to life — creating a space where veterans, first responders, and the surf community can come together in friendly, purpose-driven competition.

For many who’ve served, competition is familiar — it’s part of their training, their teamwork, and their drive. We’re channeling that same energy into a positive, uplifting event that builds connection and inspires motivation beyond the uniform!
Most importantly, we’re here to shine a light on veteran mental health and suicide awareness — and to prove that through community, movement, and the ocean, healing happens.
